I recall listening to a podcast that discussed the Left Behind series vis-a-vis The Turner Diaries. The latter is, of course, an exceedingly influential far right-wing novel about the New World Order and the like. It inspired Timothy McVeigh, who was hawking copies of it at the Branch Davidian standoff in Waco. What the podcast makes clear, though, is that the Left Behind series was actually a far more bloodthirsty and violent fantasy.
 


What about during Trump’s first term?

Biden in fact visited Israel and spoke to victims and their families soon after O7. And Netanyahu hated him for it b/c Biden demonstrated empathy and compassion that Netanyahu lacked. I mean his critics were suggesting Biden was more engaged with Israel than the United States.

But the notion of hatred toward Israel from either Administration is an outrageous slander, especially as POTUS giving a speech in Israel.
 


In addition to a glee at going overseas and trashing other Americans, Trump has no sense of time, apparently.

But he is also claiming that Arab countries that he wants to join the Abraham Accords “like Israel” which is more than a stretch.

thanks. yeah, this all tracks. i remember thinking that she was the wooooorst years ago on twitter (i left twitter in 2020) and when i saw that she'd been appointed top dog at CBS....
