Minnesota man arrested after allegedly offering $45,000 for the killing of Pam Bondi

Tyler Avalos, 29, was arrested Oct. 16 and accused of posting the threat on TikTok, FBI says.

“… The suspect has a rap sheet that includes convictions for a July 2022 stalking case in Dakota County and a domestic battery charge in Polk County, Florida, in August 2016, the affidavit said.

He also has a 2019 misdemeanor battery case out of Dakota County "which appears to have been reduced from a felony domestic assault by strangulation," the court document showed.

The suspect identifies as an anarchist, according to the affidavit, which says that his username included a symbol for anarchy and an "Anarchist FAQ book" was pinned to his page….”

Yikes. Sounds like a swell guy all around.

While I do not know about the use on an aircraft carrier, I've worked with multiple pieces of equipment that switched from hydraulic to electric. The electric versions are 1000 times better. Easier to work on, easier to maintain, more reliable, greater precision, cleaner, etc.

Why would the president even be involved in decisions at that level.

[Trump has made these claims before. “… In comments made at a rally in South Carolina, Donald Trump alleged Biden had told "lies" about his abilities elsewhere, claiming the president had wrongly boasted how he had been in the military, a pilot, and a truck driver.

Newsweek could not find any record of Biden saying he was in the military or that he was a pilot.

… There is no evidence that Biden has laid claim to being a pilot. Given the intense scrutiny Biden faces, particularly over his gaffes, any claim to having flown aircraft would have undoubtedly been a matter of public record and ridicule.

… In 2021, Biden said he "used to drive an 18-wheeler," appearing to refer to a time in 1973 when he rode 500 miles in a "47,000 pound cargo truck."

Fact-checkers Snopes ruled Biden's claim was false, finding no evidence that Biden had driven the 18-wheeler during that trip and no record showing he worked as a truck driver. Newsweek was unable to find any other evidence to support Biden's claim…”

Fact Check: Did Joe Biden say he was in the military? ]

Well we all know that donies day bought his way out of military service, I guess this is how he makes the cult feel better about voting for a draft dodger.

This has been one of his quixotic issues for years. He is convinced he is right about the glory of steam and that magnets quit working if they get wet. But supporters who want to backfill this obsession claim it is because he recognizes the danger of relying on rare earth commodities and related tech on our warships and wants to return to something we don’t need any foreign materials to build or maintain.

Good question — it depends on what kind of precision, reliability, and environment you mean. Here’s a breakdown comparing electronic servo motors, hydraulics, and steam systems across key factors:

⚙️ 1. Precision (Accuracy and Control)

Electronic Servo Motors ✅ Most precise

Controlled by microprocessors and feedback sensors (encoders or resolvers).

Positioning accuracy can be within micrometers.

Excellent repeatability and fast response.

Hydraulics

Very powerful and smooth motion, but harder to control precisely due to fluid compressibility, temperature changes, and potential leaks.

Modern electro-hydraulic systems can improve precision but still lag behind servos.

Steam

Least precise; relies on pressure and valves, not suited for fine motion control.

Response time is slow and pressure fluctuates with temperature.

🟩 Winner: Electronic servo motors — far more precise.

🧱 2. Reliability (Durability and Maintenance)

Electronic Servo Motors

Very reliable in clean environments.

Sensitive to heat, moisture, and dust.

Require little maintenance but can fail from electronics or motor wear.

Hydraulics

Extremely durable in harsh conditions (construction, aviation, heavy industry).

Can handle shock loads and overloads.

Requires regular maintenance (leak checks, fluid changes).

Steam

Mechanically robust, but energy-inefficient and maintenance-heavy (boilers, seals, scaling).

Rarely used today for actuation.

🟩 Winner: Hydraulics — best for reliability in rugged environments.

⚡ 3. Power Density (Force Output)

Hydraulics ✅ Most powerful

Can deliver massive force in a small package.

Used in excavators, aircraft landing gear, presses.

Electronic Servos

Great torque-to-size for small and medium loads.

Power drops off at larger scales (too much current needed).

Steam

Historically powerful but inefficient and difficult to control dynamically.

🟩 Winner: Hydraulics — highest power-to-weight ratio.

🌡️ 4. Efficiency and Control

Electronic Servos

Most energy-efficient and responsive.

Excellent for automation, robotics, CNC, and precision manufacturing.

Hydraulics

Energy losses through heat and fluid friction.

Complex control systems required for fine movement.

Steam

Highly inefficient — lots of energy wasted as heat.

🟩 Winner: Electronic servo motors — efficient and highly controllable.

✅ Bottom Line:

For precision and control → Electronic servo motors are superior.

For brute force and rugged reliability → Hydraulics win.

Steam is largely obsolete except for specific industrial or heritage systems.

A general look from chatGPT, maybe there is an argument for hydrolics, but he seems to not differentiate between hydrolics and steam. I'm confident he really has no clue.

Texas suing Tylenol based on Trump/RFKjr.
I’m thinking Tylenol has standing in suing Trump and RFKjr.
… and should file a counter suit against Texas.
This is just a personal opinion, but with basically no pushback from Tylenol on these claims I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't something to it. The fact it came from Kennedy and Trump gives it massive credibility problems, but I would have thought the makers of Tylenol would have been making a large fuss over it if they knew it was BS. Maybe I have just missed Tylenol's response?

Because he is an idiot who wants the Navy to scrap their stealth ships because he doesn't like their look and thinks big clouds of steam are cool on an aircraft carrier. It's easy to proclaim these things when you don't give a shit about the lives of the people in the ships.

Trump rebukes Putin for testing new missiles, tells him to end the war

Russia tested a nuclear-powered cruise missile that it said is capable of traveling thousands of miles. Trump countered that there is a U.S. nuclear submarine off Russia’s coast.

“… Russia on Sunday announced a successful test of a nuclear-powered cruise missile called Burevestnik, which Russia says can carry a nuclear warhead and travel for more than 8,000 miles. Russian President Vladimir Putin, dressed in military fatigues, hailed it as “a unique product, unlike anything else in the world.”

When asked by journalists on Air Force One whether he saw the test as nuclear saber rattling, Trump said the United States had a nuclear submarine right off Russia’s coast and it didn’t need to travel 8,000 miles.

“I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying either, by the way. You ought to get the war ended. A war that should have taken one week is now in its soon-to-be fourth year. That’s what you ought to do instead of testing missiles,” he said.

… Russia’s Skyfall cruise missile, as it is known in the U.S., has been under development for several years and has had a number of failed tests. Experts have said it is more a provocation than a major advance in military technology. Putin unveiled six “invincible” nuclear missiles in March 2018, including Burevestnik.…”
Anyone else as sick and tired as I am of seeing Putin steal Trump's lunch money on a daily basis? Why the fuck can't Trump stand up for America??

over/under before our Barbie AG indicts Biden for using an autopen... I'm setting the over/under at 3 weeks

Maybe. I also think part of it could be that they're just afraid of MAGA and Trump in general, just like all of these other corporations, universities, etc. that have bent the knee or rolled over for Trump. The corporate directors of Tylenol's parent company could be scared of just how hard a Trump-dominated government will go after them if they protest too much or fight back too hard. And I don't just mean go after the company hard, I mean use the federal government to go after the company's leaders personally. It's the MAGA way.

One, is there a law saying POTUS cannot use an autopen?
Two, I don't think they're going after Joe Biden. They're clearing a path to go after those who received Biden pardons—starting with Hunter.
Three, this whole administration is evil, childish and vindictive, and they deserve every ounce of misery that is coming their way once their power grab is over.
