Did you get one that protects against the most recent variants. Think there was talk about difficulty getting the most up to date. Or I am misremembering ha. Where were you able to get it?

Definitely want to get my yearly flu and covid vax with whatever hoops I’ll need to jump through.
I got mine at the Publix pharmacy on my neighborhood- I scheduled an appointment through their website

In the paperwork they gave me it says it's the comirnaty 2025-26 COVID vaccine so I believe that it means it's pretty up to date
Yeah when I got the COVID vax a week or two ago, the PA made a point of showing me the box that said it was the 2025-26 vaccine, though she volunteered that a booster had been under consideration and might be necessary in 3 months or so. 🤷‍♀️

I got mNexspike at Publix. I just told them I had multiple factors and they didn't ask for proof.

Harris Teeter no appt

Mind if I ask if you had any issues/reaction to the shot? Reason I ask…accompanied my almost 87 year old dad to his regular pulmonologist appt yesterday. He told my dad (diabetic, COPD, wears oxygen 24/7) that he wouldn’t recommend the Covid shot for him. Said he’s not anti-vax, and actually had the shot himself a month or so ago. However, said that he and others he has spoken to had pretty bad experiences and since my dad is home 99% of the time that he wouldn’t risk it. I was surprised obviously. My dad has been seeing this guy for 10+ years and first time he has recommended against the shot.

I am a 70 yr-old type 2 diabetic male, and have had no no issues/reaction other than the usual swelling at the injection site.

I am no doctor, but your father sounds like the person the shot is especially made for. Might want to seek some second opinions.

The official CDC recommendations for the Covid vaccine have come out. Its not banned of course but there is a new recommendation to consult a clinician before receiving the shot. That can be a doctor or pharmacist. The CDC is also recommending separating the chickenpox vaccine from the MMR vaccine.

I got my mNEXTSPIKE from pharmacy and no one ever asked me anything. Kinda disappointed because I wanted to list all my co-morbidities.
