Paris has a 250 ft marble and gold plated arch ? I did not know that. The last time I was in Paris was 1972 so I I'm guessing it was built and erected after 1972 ?

When was it erected and where is it located in Paris ?

Anyone with any sense of scale, scope, and respect for the area in which it is to be placed.

Donald Trump wants a monument to himself that overahadows quite literally the most hallowed ground in the United States. That you favor such a thing is unsurprising.
 
Honest question: You can only choose one to be constructed in DC;

1. Trump’s marble arch; or
2. Obama” windowless concrete library.

I would tone down the gold on the arch but man Obama”s prison structure.

Neither. Then again, I have no idea what Obama's library looks like or where it would be because I imagine the only people whondo know and care are either part of the project or in right wing fever swamps still being outraged about tan suits.

But I would never choose something that takes away from the solemnity of Arlington National Cemetary.

They could construct a giant penis for all I care as long as Congress approves it. The president is not a king and does not have the right to tear down or construct giant monuments without Congress. His job is to execute the laws, not do whatever he wants.

Not understanding how it negatively impacts Arlington. Critics alleging the 250 ft structure would impact flight patterns of planes landing at Reagan. Huh!

The Blackhawk was at 278 feet when it hit the AA plane. I’d imagine that 250 feet (plus statute height) would pose some issues for the flight path.

Because it disrupts the view of the Lincoln Memorial from Arlington and turns that route into a Trump circus sideshow.
