This is utterly charming. A father posted on Reddit asking if their daughter invented a new knot, and the community agreed that it was new (or at least undocumented/unnamed).



And now the community is utterly enchanted by it. It's been two week and not a single post asking "what's this knot" goes by without getting the comment "Well it's not a Fozzy Slider, that's for sure!"

(And for the record, it does seem to have useful properties).
