We don’t “let” the minority rule.Crazy how we let the minority rule just to make some states feel they are just as important as others.
Good luck changing the Constitution in this era.

I don’t care which but let’s pick one and stick with it.Same! But it's crazy to me how many people prefer DST and would rather keep that year round, ditching standard time.
Changing it is the twice a year is the best. It stays light later for nearly 8 months of the year (which I love), and you get a little more light in the morning (and little more warmth) during the colder months. I’ll be pissed if they change it. It’s the best of both worlds with the time change. And it’s not like it’s that big of a deal to change the clock twice a year. And the extra hour you get for “fall back” is nice.I love standard time. Summer nights are the best. Just please, for the love of god, stop changing it twice a year.
You must be old and not do anything outside past 6 PM if you don’t like daylight at 9 PM in the summer.I would prefer to have an earlier sunrise in winter. I don’t need it to still be dark at 8 AM in the winter and I don’t need it to still be daylight at 9 PM in the summer. Standard time is fine with me!
I concur with this take.Changing it is the twice a year is the best. Pretty wide berth there between 6 and 9. I hate it being dark at 7:30 a.m. in March and October. You must be old and not do anything outside past 6 PM if you don’t like daylight at 9 PM in the summer.
I get the youth sports, but the earlier the sun goes down in the summer, the better IMO. I love sitting outside on a summer evening as the sun disappears and it cools down just a bit. The lack of daylight has never kept me from doing anything I wanted to do in the summer. You must be old and not do anything outside past 6 PM if you don’t like daylight at 9 PM in the summer.
Most people can’t do anything productive with daylight at 6 AM. Lots of evening daylight is what keeps my soul alive, and it certainly helps when coaching youth sports on fields that do t have lights.
Will never happenNah, if they win the White House once without winning the popular vote, Republicans will drop the EC faster than a 5 week old fetus' "heartbeat".
Really the solution is to split the difference. This Spring, move the clocks up 30 minutes and the don’t touch them again. We can all then be ticked off about together. We should just stay on standard time year round - they apparently tried to make DST permanent in the 70s and it was a disaster
Yep. It's been tried before and was hugely unpopular. We should just stay on standard time year round - they apparently tried to make DST permanent in the 70s and it was a disaster
