True.Well and their prices suck-always lol
I stopped watching Will Smith movies after seeing how bad they are.I won't watch a Will Smith movie after the Chris Rock incident. I also won't pay for anything Kanye West related. That includes streaming his songs.
It's much easier, but I would never stay at a Trump hotel or buy anything that is sold by and benefits Trump.
There are more, but they aren't coming to mind.
I get it re: Chic-fil-a. I have two kids and a Chic-fil-a within walking distance of my house. It’s unavoidable. Granted, I take bites of their fries and nuggets and they taste so good. And I initiated a special trip to Chic-fail-a with my kids a few days ago so that I could get a peach milkshake. I do the same around Christmas when they have their peppermint milkshake.I have a good friend who calls Chick-fil-A "Hate Chicken"... but he still gives in and eats it a couple times a year.
I have kids, so that means I am forced to eat McD's and Chick-fil-A semi-regularly. Once removed from the equation I doubt I will partake in those, but not for political reasons. Fast food just makes me feel like ass now that I am older, used to be able to power down anything and be right as the rain.
Nowadays, whenever on vacation my family most fears the words "Dad going to get us fast food breakfast and coffee/espresso"....
he's a couple of weeks behind but that's okay, i bet he's happier.
without social media, i count on this board and my friends to keep me informed on a lot of things.
My issue with Amazon is the prevalence of fake goods. I generally use Amazon for research, but then try to buy whatever I find directly from the retailer. The prices are usually not far off. Although "free" shipping is hard to pass up.I canceled my Amazon prime membership over the Jeff Bezos spiking the WaPo editorial fiasco.
I’m sure it hurt him significantly. But, it will probably help me save money by preventing me from buying things the aren’t necessarily necessary.
Along those same lines, I also boycott Bugatti.Well and their prices suck-always lol
yeah we also cancelled wapo and primeI canceled my Amazon prime membership over the Jeff Bezos spiking the WaPo editorial fiasco.

Any suggestions on how I can get my wife to boycott Amazon...and Target.... and Hobby Lobby?I canceled my Amazon prime membership over the Jeff Bezos spiking the WaPo editorial fiasco.

I started boycotting Nike and Adidas after all the payola stuff in college basketball recruiting years ago. Admittedly that now seems tame in comparison to the current pay for play scene.
Why the hate for McDonalds, who gives more kids their first job than anyone else in the US? Walmart reduced RX prices on generics for everyone when they instituted their low cost generic drug program. Walmart's mission statement is "to save people money so they can live better". This guiding principle, established by founder Sam Walton, emphasizes providing affordable products to help customers improve their quality of life. It's synonymous with their slogan, "Save money. Live better." I guess I can dig down on the sources in donbosco's post to see why the People's Union has their panties in a wad.
There's lots of places that I don't patronize because I think their products suck. I view boycotts as being over more political or moral issues.
