Cam is a turd to say this. He had a nice NFL career-not a great one-maybe one and half great years. Of all people to be trying to make fun of a QB-sure as heck would not expect it to be a former QB

Cam seems to have grown bitter over the rapid decline and disappointing end of his NFL career. Oh well.

Fuck Stephen A, it's surprising he can pull his head out of trumps ass long enough to keep up his stupid persona.
Fuck Cam, with all that talent, he wasn't really that great. Made bone headed plays at times that cost the team.
AND, not that Cam no longer plays, who cares what he thinks?

Cam was pretty good but I agree with the other stuff.

Not saying that he wasn't good. But he always seemed to have the same issue as Vick, they were always so much physically better than everyone else that they didn't seem to learn the nuances of the game, hence why they never won the Superbowl. At least that's the opinion I've built over the years watching and reading about the NFL.

A lot of great QBs never won a SB.

Cam won the Heisman, a CFP championship, got to a SB and was NFL MVP. That’s a pretty solid career.

Dude, I've seen how you take these types of conversations, that's why I made it very clear that it was my opinion. Good day sir.

And my opinion is based off of the bone headed plays that he was known for. Just to make sure I wasn't wrong in saying he was in one super bowl, I googled "Cam Newton Super Bowl" and most of the articles were about him not diving on the ball. That's the kind of things that I saw in his career that makes me believe that while he was very highly successful, he could have been better.
 
Cam's career went south quickly after the Super Bowl loss.

For the 2016 season, Newton completed 52.9 percent of his passes, marking a career worst in that category. He threw 19 touchdown passes, 16 fewer than the previous year, and 14 interceptions, the second most of his career behind his rookie season.[242] The Panthers regressed from their 15–1 record from the previous year to a 6–10 record in 2016.

Part of that might have been he was playing hurt that season. He had the surgery on his shoulder when the season was over and really wasn't the same ever after the Super Bowl season.
