I live in North Berkeley. We have a very tiny lot, but a wonderfully walkable neighborhood.
Tiny lots do make for walkable neighborhoods as you can squeeze a lot of stuff in.

I lived in South Berkeley (almost Oakland), but I liked North Berkeley. My kid’s school was there (Berkeley Arts Magnet) & our favorite dog park was up that way.

The most important question is…how far are you from The Cheese Board & Cheese Board Pizza?

1/10th of an acre? That's 4,356 sq ft. Are they building mansions in Berkeley?

In SoCal, a 4000 sq ft lot is huge.
Well, everyone does have to have room for their hippy garden. 🤷‍♂️

I could watch my neighbor’s tv from my living room…and if they had the windows open, I could hear, as well.

Would any lawyers in the room care to opine on the video? I’m particularly curious if you think it was wise of Powell to have publicly made this announcement from a legal perspective.

I am about a mile from Cheese Board - a couple of blocks from Monterey Market (best produce in Berkeley, maybe aside from the Berkeley Bowl)

It’s not a legal issue but a financial one. Powell’s No. 1 concern is the economy as a whole, not his personal legal jeopardy. As such, he wanted to make a statement before markets opened to keep everything as calm as possible.
