So we need a $12 billion “bridge” of government funding to farmers so farmers don’t have to rely on government funding anymore?

Star Trek Spock GIF

This reminds me of an old (pre-MAGA) interview with conservative actor Craig T. Nelson when he was railing against government bailouts and said "I've been on food stamps and welfare. Did anybody help me out? No."

Trump voters - explain how this is good, as well. Looks bad to me but that’s why I didn’t vote for Trump.
Those of you who did vote for Trump - explain please why you think this is good for our economy.

(A lack of response will be taken to mean, “I know it is very bad but I didn’t think he would do any of the things he campaigned on.”)
I have it on good authority that Trump inherited an economy in ashes and he has since turned America into the hottest country in the world!

Do MAGAs really want farmers to be getting 12 billion dollars in welfare checks ?

I sure hope there will be a work requirement for able bodied adult farmers in order to qualify for that welfare !
It's not welfare, it's a "bridge payment." And I'm sure this "bridge payment" comes with some very very strict restrictions before receiving any of the 12 billion dollars.

Gotta give them credit for coming up with a cute name for a bailout.
