Also, for the record, I'm glad that spending is up. I'm glad that the possibility of recession has fallen. I how your business is doing well.

But none of that changes how the big beautiful bill gives the executive branch to much power, over funds ICE, gives rich people tax breaks at the expense of poor people, and increases the debt.

Still think the president is high functioning?

Guess time will tell.
Executive branch to much power? Maybe
over funds ICE? No, you just don't agree with the deportation activity
Gives rich people tax breaks at the expense of poor people? Poor people don't pay taxes. Taxes are paid by the middle class and rich.

Along the lines of the rich getting all the tax breaks, I think that's just dim talking points (like calling everyone a racist). But, we do have an unsustainable wealth gap. I don't know what the solution is, but something is going to have to be done.

Come on man,

You know when I say at the cost of the poor it's not a comparison of taxes to taxes. It's costing to not spend money on social programs in favor of tax cuts for rich people that can afford the taxes.

You are correct I don't like trumps inhuman practices for deportation. I do believe in actual policy's to control immigration.

And I don't care which party is in power, I don't want a dictator, I want checks and balances, I want guide rails, I want debate, discussion, and collaboration.

I completely agree that we have an unsustainable wealth gap. Maybe we could stop implementing policy that transfers wealth to the top 1 percent.

I still think a recession is looming. I think the data doesn't support the optimism. Underneath each of the "good" reports are shaky foundations.

That said, the market is a better forecaster than me.

In 2018, Biden was president?

Republican talking heads recently really are having a hard time with timeliness.
A dumb middle schooler can tell you who was president in 2018 but the people that MAGA rely upon for their regurgitation points apparently are some of the dumbest people on the planet.

Gotta say, as annoying as it is right now, I really hope Trump and crew keep talking about the 2016 and 2020 elections for the next several months while economic conditions continue to get worse and worse for the young and politically disinterested Americans who are most impacted by things like the job and housing markets.
