Of course every single person who voted for Trump will look at a graph of COVID deaths and see a precipitous drop in COVID deaths that directly coincides with people taking the vaccine, and they will conclude vaccines don’t work.
So, I’m not sure they will believe the “economy crashed as soon as Trump put in his tariffs as every single non-MAGA person in the world knew it would,” graph.

Hell, people didn't believe Biden when he claimed -- CORRECTLY -- that he inherited the economic headwinds he had to fight throughout his presidency. No chance swing voters will give Trump grace when he tries to blame Biden for an economy that was better on pretty much every metric when Trump inherited it.

Did everyone get notice of the 401k changes?

Being that I'm over 55, I can contribute more to "catch up". Starting in 2026, that contribution has to be a ROTH for those who make over $150k, so they lose the tax shelter.

I met a guy from Texas with a Rivian truck. 190,000 miles and his only maintenance was tires. He loved it. Had to reboot it once.
That’s impressive. Assuming it was a ‘22 and he’s had it 4 years, that’s roughly 4,000 miles per month. Hard to imagine that wasn’t mostly highway mileage. Even using a DC fast charger, it’s about 30 minutes to get enough electrons for 150 miles under optimal conditions.

No taxes on auto loans? Does that mean I can deduct my interest?
If you qualify. It has to be a car purchased between 2025-28; it has to have final manufacture in the US; and you have to have income less than 200K for married filing jointly.
