Fourth-quarter GDP revised down to just 0.7% growth; January core inflation was 3.1%

The PCE price index for January was expected to show headline inflation at 2.9% and core at 3.1%.

So the decline in the stock market today continues a steady pace which is continuing us down the path to a bear market...

Yup with today's declines, I'm back to where I was at the start of the year. 0% growth YTD.

That combined with my bonus being half of what it was last year......

When GQPers try to pawn off these numbers and attribute them to the "dem government shutdown" if the GQPers in Congress had just agreed to extend health insurance subsidies for millions of low income Americans for a year, then there would not have been a government shutdown.
The cost to the extension would have been around 30 billion.
At the rate we are going we will spend 30 billion on a stupid war by the end of the month.

I'd just like to point out that I called this. The 4Q numbers were too high because inflation was too low. They didn't officially revise the inflation estimate for a couple of reasons, but that's basically what happened.

And it's still happening.
