Not many but certainly the capitalism vs communism framework.
Sometimes I think that follows the matrix laid down by religious dispute. A little too much deus ex machina in all that.

So had a long flight Sunday and did some continuing reading from Max Weber. Took a turn towards Durkheim and his quote got me thinking about Bart's latest book:
"Man is a moral being, only because he lives in society. Let all social life disappear and morality will disappear with it."
I remain fascinated by complex systems or at least the pedagogy of social systems.
