It's amazing that MAGAts are shocked that Musk and Vivek are translational and out in the open. They *bought* a lot of votes. It's payoff time. Musk in principle is not wrong about the H-1Bs. We need a lot more. There are 3-4M essential jobs and tech jobs to fill.

MAGA and the working class MAGA messaged really got gaslighted. Musk is also essential calling American workers, lazy, uneducated, and unskilled.

Honest question. If there are tech jobs to fill, why are CS grads struggling to find jobs?

Honestly, I suspect that the more time they spend fighting amongst themselves the better it will be for the rest of us, so I say let them have at it.

MAGA is learning the hard way that for these plutocrats outsourcing is actually a two-way street: hey, working-class Trumpers, not only do we move your factories and plants overseas where we can pay locals just a few dollars a day (or week) to produce the cheap crap you buy at Walmart and Dollar General and so on, but we can also import immigrants to do your jobs here and treat them like indentured servants and pay them crap and treat them like crap as well. And so, MAGA Nation, we're really screwing you twice! And what's better is that we're also supporting politicians in your states and the federal government who are steadily dismantling your public school system and starving it of necessary funding so you'll never be able to learn about how we're screwing you. Brilliant!

Trump won less than 50% of the vote. Despite their slim victory, the Republican Party was already in a civil war between MAGA and establishment Republicans who are fed up with the MAGAs who threaten to burn down the government and almost a century of international diplomacy: just a week ago, Senate Republicans were publicly complaining about the dysfunctional “sh*t show” and “fiasco” in the House.

Now, with Trump not even in office yet, the two factions of Trump’s MAGA base—which, indeed, have opposing interests—are at war.
