“…
Musk himself has eleven children whom he fathered with three different mothers; two of them were born through a surrogate.

On one hand, it makes sense that this wealthy man is doing what he personally can to counter falling birth rates, which he portrays as a civilization-threatening problem. But on the other, Musk is not so much a family man as a paterfamilias. He is estranged from his trans daughter, Vivian, who has described him as authoritarian and narcissistic. Musk, in turn, claimed Vivian is “dead, killed by the woke mind virus,” and has blithely said of their estrangement, “Can’t win them all.”

Why make siring offspring such a priority if you don’t actually want to be a father to them? Musk’s position in this area starts to get a bit clearer when you factor in some of his other views: He is an outspoken border hawk and a critic of what he views as a woke attempt to impose a regime of cultural and ethnic diversity in Western countries.

Musk’s reply to Taylor Swift may have been an attempt to mockingly belittle her Harris endorsement. But it also treated her as a vessel in this larger ideological framework: She would need to have a child, he was saying, in order to feel political fulfillment. …”

I hate Elon musk so much it's palpable. He is a horrible, gross, evil person.

He's a vile excuse for a human who controls one of the largest platforms for social expression and networking in the world.

Twitter is devolved into a cesspool of MAGA extremists and misinformation. It's frightening to see how much influence his money affords him.

Does anyone still post there? I have an account for my business from when it was still Twitter. I've had my marketing firm cancel my blogs. The amount of misinformation and vitriol was making my head spin. Trying to keep up and respond is futile.

Cards against Humanity is suing Musk

Neighbors of Starbase continue to be perplexed by some of SpaceX’s activities. Last year, a homeowner in the area, Keith Reynolds, noticed that SpaceX builders had cleared a parcel and were storing construction materials there. The parcel belonged to Cards Against Humanity, a card game company that sometimes engages in progressive political activism and bought land there to thwart a border wall with Mexico.
Reynolds said he called SpaceX to complain, but got no response. He also phoned an executive at Cards Against Humanity to inform them. The executive, who asked not to be identified by name, told Reuters that Denise Marrufo, a SpaceX real estate analyst, called afterward, asking if the company wanted to sell the property.

The executive ignored the offer.

Marrufo didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Cards Against Humanity on Thursday filed a $15 million lawsuit against SpaceX in Cameron County District Court, alleging illegal trespassing and destruction of property.

I hope they're not inadvertently running afoul of litigation funding rules here (though I suspect Texas is fairly permissive in that regard).
