Based on his testimony, it sounds like they were friendly as he employed Epstein to do financial services for him. I'm "friends" with some suppliers I work with but we never do anything socially outside of work. They occasionally take me to baseball games and on a boat but as a customer. It's a nice break and we might even describe ourselves as friends if we're introducing to someone but I wouldn't consider them close friends. He said he wasn't friends with Epstein..so you believe that?
It sounds like that might be the level of friendship that Wexner and Epstein had before Wexner fired him after Epstein went to jail the first time. I doubt that rises to the level of lying to Congress but I could be wrong.
Is that really it? That's your mountains of evidence that he lied to Congress that's easy to find? One throw away line?
