It certainly seems like they are trying to pretend to release info that they don’t want to release … but who knows.Just like the Zelenskyy kabuki, I wager this is a setup as well.

Joe Rogan Tells Elon Musk ‘Phase One’ Release of Epstein List Was ‘Bulls**t,’ ‘Frustrating’: ‘It’s Not Encouraging’
Joe Rogan called the "phase one" release of the Epstein list "so frustrating" and not "encouraging" for President Donald Trump's administration.www.mediaite.com
“… Musk insisted Bondi and Patel are dealing with “hostile” workforces.
Bondi already sent a letter to Patel demanding the “full and complete” Epstein files be released by Saturday morning. …”
Brown broke the Epstein story for the Miami Herald.
In any event, worth noting the existence of these redacted documents since Bondi has hinted that intransigent NY FBI agents may have “destroyed” Epstein evidence — same playbook as Trump’s repeated false claims that the J6 committee destroyed all the evidence.
seriously? the magas i know couldnt care less. maybe a few who voted for him care.....certainly not a lot of maga cultThis is a tough nut for the Trump Admin because there are a lot of MAGA supporters who take this very seriously as the smoking gun of the vast, elite pedophile conspiracy they believe Trump has been (secretly) fighting for years. And they are clamoring for the Epstein files to be released (“promises made, promises kept”).
I actually suspect that the bulk of the records are circumstantial evidence of influence peddling and cultivated contacts with powerful people by Epstein rather than proof of child trafficking sex rings — embarrassing for the many powerful people Epstein cultivated contact with but not evidence of sex crimes.
But a lot of people, including a lot of MAGA, are convinced this is THE proof of their elitist child sex trafficking conspiracies and they are not going to just let it go.
Well this is awkward...I actually agree with you here. The caring about the "vast elite pedophilia conspiracy" ends abruptly as soon as it's no longer about a Democrat.seriously? the magas i know couldnt care less. maybe a few who voted for him care.....certainly not a lot of maga cult
no need to be awkward....just shows a sign of growth for you that others around here are incapable ofWell this is awkward...I actually agree with you here. The caring about the "vast elite pedophilia conspiracy" ends abruptly as soon as it's no longer about a Democrat.
Even if Trump's name is plastered all over the "Epstein Files," none of the MAGA Nation cult is going to give two shits. Trump could do an Amsterdam-style public sex show of him with a troupe of underaged boys and they'd still parrot the usual, "well, he's a strong man and he does what he wants" or some such nonsense.

Epstein files will be dealt with 'as fast as we can,' Bondi said

AG Pam Bondi says FBI delivered 'truckload' of Epstein files after she put out hard deadline
AG Pam Bondi said the FBI handed over a "truckload" of Epstein files after she gave the agency until 8 a.m. Friday morning to turn them over. She also praised FBI boss Kash Patel.www.foxnews.com
“… Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night, Bondi confirmed that a "truckload" of Epstein files were delivered by the FBI after she gave the agency until 8 a.m. on Friday morning to deliver them.
"I gave [the FBI] a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything," Bondi explained. "And a source had told me where the documents were being kept, Southern District of New York, shock. So we got them all by Friday at 8 a.m."
"Thousands of pages of documents. I have the FBI going through them...and Director Patel is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents," she continued.
… Bondi went on to describe the documents as being "a truckload of evidence," and emphasized that a detailed report is incoming.
"And, you know, we're going to go through it, go through it as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein," she said.
The attorney general also accused the Biden administration of "sitting" on the documents.
"No one did anything with them. And why were they sitting in the Southern District of New York? I want a full report on that," Bondi said.
"You know, sadly, these people don't believe in transparency. But I think more unfortunately, I think a lot of them don't believe in honesty." …”

Smells like buying time/delay the Epstein evidence release on the one hand and trying to shift the narrative to attacking SDNY instead OTOH.
In any event, it is not shocking that evidence from the SDNY prosecution of Epstein (and later Maxwell) would be held by SDNY. Bondi didn’t need a “source” to tell her that. And the allegation that “no one did anything with them” is bizarre considering that SDNY obtained an indictment of Epstein using evidence that had not previously been obtained after a Republican prosecutor in Florida gave Epstein a sweethearts deal that was eventually exposed by the Miami Herald.

Or a hand truck, fwiw.A “truckload” is such a vague comment. It could mean “a lot.” It could mean 20 boxes. It could be a small U-Haul van or box truck. It could be an 18-wheeler.
It’s intentionally vague.
This may take weeks. They need time to make sure all the references to Donald Trump are redacted.
