That’s how bad whatever is in there is. He’d rather take this blowback… I think he definitely would pardon her.

Yeah, that would be a trial preservation deposition, and there's no reason it should take place at this super-early stage of the litigation unless Trump's team has reason to actually think Murdoch is on death's door. If the request is opposed by Fox, I'd expect it to be denied.

Now, it's possible Fox WANTS Murdoch to have the chance to go on the record as early as possible. I'd love to see more depositions in cases like this made public. But if I were to put money on it, I'd bet this case will be settled before Murdoch ever has to testify.

So the monster that Murdock helped create and bolster to power somehow grew beyond his control and got out of hand? I mean, who could have possibly seen this coming. If there were only some religious or secular mainstream allegorical example or precedent in either print media or film somewhere of this kind of thing occurring, this crisis could have been averted.

So he’s going with that he told him it was false and they still printed it. That seems to assume that he is a reliable source..

Did anyone look at whether Maxwell had any foreign intelligence connections? I mean, I don't think it's a high likelihood in any case, but when I look at the biographies of those two and read what has been made publicly available, I think It's considerably more likely that Ghislaine was running Epstein (prob without his knowledge) than Epstein being a foreign agent.

Other than her father’s work with/for Mossad, you mean?

I have not seen anything credible to suggest she carried on her father’s alleged relations with Mossad (or MI6 or maybe the KGB) after he mysteriously fell off his yacht and drowned (a possible suicide once his massive embezzlement from his company’s pensions was discovered).

Oh, I didn't even know about that. Not sure how I missed it. He also fought fascists in WWII.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Patti Hearst meets the Rosenbergs. And I don't know if the whole scheme was an spy plot or if it just became that eventually, but the conspiracy theory that rings truest to me is that Putin's Kompromat on the GOP and Dersh among others is related to Epstein. He has something.

Maybe it's like the rumored Michael X blackmail (as dramatisied in the movie The Bank Job).
