Honestly kind of glorious. It's the type of cover up your 11 year old might try. I still don't think there's too much evidence that Trump was bonking 15-year-olds but I do think it's fantastic that after all his bloviating on Obama's birth certificate and Clinton murdering people that he is getting hemmed up with his own nonsense. Just desserts.
 
In re: Maxwell being transferred to a minimum-security prison. If this is all that Maxwell gets in exchange for not ratting out St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago, I suspect that a frequent comment by those interviewing Maxwell last week was something along the lines of, "Real shame what happened to your boyfriend. Sometimes when people are looking at a long stretch hard time where they know that they will receive absolutely no protection from prison predators, they just decide to 'end it all.'"
 
Blanche: So here is the deal for you to keep your mouth shut about Trump. We will transfer you to a summer camp in TX and pardon you in 2028 in exchange for you excluding any testimony that implicates Trump as a sex predator of teenage girls.

Maxwell : Understanding that Trump is the world's greatest negotiator, I will agree to that deal assuming I will not be murdered in my cell before my 2028 pardon.

TBH, I still don’t believe Trump is a pedophile but I also think it looks like he knew Epstein was a pedophile and didn’t care because he considered 14+ year old girls fair game at least for ogling …

I respect the hell out of you, and that's totally fair. I still think it's revealing, though, to think about the following question --

If you had to put $100,000 on Trump (after the age of 30) having sex with at least one girl under the age of 17, or 30+ yo Trump not having sex with at least one girl under the age of 17, which would you choose?

It's really hard for me to imagine anyone would bet $100,000 on the latter.

And I literally cannot imagine a calculation that would be more categorically disqualifying for someone seeking to be the leader of this great nation, and the putative leader of the greatest global empire ever assembled.

Oh I wouldn’t put money down on no sex with teens. Just based on available info I wouldn’t put money on DID have sex with underage teens. His “type” seems to skew more physically developed (or augmented).
 
Yeah, the guy who has spent an 80 years of life breaking every white collar law (and then some) known to man and believing he's entitled to grab women by the pussy because when you're a star they let you do it, DEFINITELY adhered to the whole "it's illegal to have sex with girls under the age of 18" statute.
 
I think it's pretty clear that the move to Texas was a precursor to deporting Ghislaine before she can rat out Benito Cheeto.

Comer says he will postpone Ghislaine Maxwell testimony​

The House Oversight chair also rejected an immunity request from the Jeffrey Epstein associate.


“… In a letter to Maxwell, Comer said he would agree to delay the meeting after her lawyers earlier this week requested a postponement in the planned Aug. 11 testimony citing a pending Supreme Court petition regarding her case.

… [Comer rejected several of Maxwell’s ballsy demands in exchange for testimony but] he agreed to delay the interview until after the Supreme Court rules on her appeal, which claims that her 2021 sex trafficking conviction was barred by Epstein’s earlier plea deal. You may be right, but the woman who filed a case accusing Trump of raping her in Epstein's apartment when she was 13 yo cannot be dismissed given she had a eyewitness who under oath asserted that Trump raped her when she was 13yo
