Possibility #1: Epstein and Maxwell were trying to confirm nobody would spill their secrets, were happy that Trump had not, and were noting they were 75% through locking up the perpetrators.

Possibility #2: Epstein was emailing in flagrante delicto and could see the finish line.

I'm thinking it was #1, but could have been both.

I took it to mean they suspected Trump had turned Epstein in or was cooperating to keep himself out of the investigation. They were not yet convinced Trump had done so but 75% there based on the circumstantial evidence.

But it could mean sort of the opposite, that they were 75% sure Trump was keeping mum, but the context seems to me they are suspicious that Trump’s name wasn’t coming up.
