I've said repeatedly that if there is concrete evidence of Trump's sexual involvement with minor children, I'll repudiate him and call for his resignation. Anyone involved in that type of behavior deserves to be in jail and certainly not hold the nation's highest office.

Hoax or not ( it's not a hoax )My question is why would he care if the files are released ? Why spend so much time bringing attention to what is in the files ?

He won his first election after bragging about sexually assaulting women ON VIDEO.
He lost no support from Congressional GQPers or his base after being found liable for sexual assault in a court of law
He was convicted of 34 felonies related to paying off a porn star to not reveal he had sex with her while his wife was home with a 4 month old baby.

Does anyone really believe that if the files show that he was molesting or having forced sex with 14 year old children that suddenly GQPers and MAGAs will turn against him ?

If I was advising Trump I would tell him to come out and say release the goddamn Epstein files. Those are just a bunch of words written on a few thousand pages. Your cult is not going be influenced by fancy words on a piece of paper. There is nothing in there that will make you look anymore criminally corrupt and morally depraved than your cult has already seen.

What do you need, a close-up still photo or video of him actively participating in forcible sexual intercourse with a child? Is that what you're waiting for?

I'm not even being snarky or sarcastic, for once. I'm genuinely wondering where the line is for you.

I was out of the GOP as soon as Trump descended the elevator (in the Prince song sense as well), TBH, I already had one foot out the door because of the Tea Party --> alt-right/white.

Even if that was produced, it would be decried as fake. Like the “fake” letter to Epstein placed in a book 30 years ago.
 


And yet the discharge petition is likely to die in the Senate. But maybe Trump just wants to avoid the very unlikely outcome of the Senate taking it up, passing it & sending it to his desk and forcing him to veto it?

No, they’re just Christians. There are good people who are Christians and bad people who are Christians. Being Christian is not synonymous with being good.
