I think what the intend to do is release files that have had sections removed. There are going to be people that leak the real unaltered ones, but if those sections are merely redacted then the unredacted ones will prove whats there. If the leaked versions have totally different sections, then the WH and Trump can say those are fake.
 
I think they won’t release them at all. They’ll hide behind the “pending investigation” excuse. Either that or Trump is going to do what he can to ensure it doesn’t get put up for a vote in the senate.

What do the emails indicate that he has done? If he was just talking to Epstein, I think that's fine. If he was talking about that high school junior they shared, he needs to be arrested.

I'm not sure what would be in between that would make him need to step back from all his public duties.

Except we're not going to get "all." I have zero doubt that Trump's headscratching course reversal is because the files are being scrubbed of any Republican names. These scoundrels are turning it into a Dem burn book as we speak. Lord knows, they've had enough time to do so. Mark my words, this will go down in history as the biggest political coverup of all time. And anyone even remotely involved in this coverup should be jailed for life.
 


It’s almost like he’s pointing a flashing sign at particular info people should be looking for (or noticing is absent from any future disclosure).

This entire handling of this stuff since Trump’s campaign trying to play footy with the Q-Anaon types about Epstein while not actually agreeing to disclosure, to everything Trump, Bondi, Patel and Johnson have done since Trump got elected is such a political clusterfuck.

I'm one of those. I don't think there is enough evidence to call Trump a pedophile although there is more smoke around him than most people that are going to get mentioned in these emails. I do think there's probably enough evidence that he knew about it. And I don't think he will be the only prominent person in the emails in the same boat.

Now that I think about it, if he knew that Epstein was having underage sex, and didn't report, he has a little bit of legal exposure. He is a college professor and therefore a mandatory reporter in massachusetts. The penalty is a $2,000 fine for a first offense which would be nothing for him but the reputational hit would be enormous.
