Obviously I was wrong. But I thought that none of Epstein's victims would be involuntarily outed. But given Melania's speech, she pretty much outed herself. All Melania had to do was wait for some one to out her. Then she could have gone after that person for outing her and she would have had the Nation's sympathy. But now, I don't know. There are stories you have get out in front of. And there are stories that it is better to swing back on. I think this was a "swing back on" story.

ETA: But if St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago didn't know Melania's full history with Epstein, that might entirely change the strategy. There's a big difference between "Here's a hot model you might like" and "WOW, I've already been with her and I know you will like her too" for someone like St. Donald.

I've never had any sympathy for her in any way. She chose to marry Trump and has stayed with him and had a child with him (I assume it's Trump's son) all while being able to see just how awful he is on a daily basis for many years. And she is therefore complicit in much of what he's done. And she's done very well for herself materially and financially by marrying him. I think their marriage is a clear old-fashioned one of convenience and opportunity, not love or affection or anything so romantic. He likes young pretty Eastern European women and saw her as his next trophy wife, and she saw him as a sugar daddy type who could give her a very nice lifestyle in exchange for some sexual favors and being seen at his side occasionally. And so the deal was struck. That they now lead almost totally separate lives should come as no surprise.

As for Epstein, she may or may not have slept with him, who knows? The more important point is that they likely both did know Epstein pretty well and Trump definitely seemed to share his gross interest in young, often underage, women. If the complete truth ever comes out about what happened on his island I often fear that it will be even worse, perhaps much worse, than anyone could have imagined.

I don't know given her age and role in this scheme, I will consider her more of a co-conspirator than a victim.

it would be perfect if one of these Trump deplorable's abused ICE resulting in more exposure than we knew.

Melania showed her hand... we always knew this is how she got introduced but she seems like an escort who was an opportunist and got involved in the real game.
