Heard it this afternoon. I loved the tape of Patel, preFBI, telling congress to put "their big boy pants on" and release the files. Ha ha ha. What a dick. I just don't see how anyone can take these clowns seriously.
If they weren't in positions of power, with virtually no checks on their capacity to abuse said power, they would be complete fucking clown shoes.

This morning's The Daily is so good -- https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/09/podcasts/the-daily/trump-epstein-conspiracy.html

And it's not even remotely biased. It just tells the incredible story of MAGA's Epstein obsession linearly. There's no possible conclusion except that the leader of the free world and almost all of the highest-level people surrounding him are an almost impossible blend of idiocy and mendacity.

I never understand how people with an IQ over 80 could support this shitshow.
Because among the Trump base an IQ over 80 comprises the evil intelligentsia…the grim reaper for fascism.

“The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo’s composition and release is patently false.”

——

Not long ago, Blanche was Trump’s personal criminal attorney. And perhaps he still is serving in that capacity, notwithstanding his current title?

Anyway, as background, I think this post is aimed at a Laura Loomer claim that the FBI is furious with Bondi for her lack of transparency on the Epstein memo making them look bad.

FFS. Amateur hour.
“… Metadata embedded in the video and analyzed by WIRED and independent video forensics experts shows that rather than being a direct export from the prison’s surveillance system, the footage was modified, likely using the professional editing tool Adobe Premiere Pro. The file appears to have been assembled from at least two source clips, saved multiple times, exported, and then uploaded to the DOJ’s website, where it was presented as “raw” footage.

Experts caution that it’s unclear what exactly was changed, and that the metadata does not prove deceptive manipulation. The video may have simply been processed for public release using available software, with no modifications beyond stitching together two clips. But the absence of a clear explanation for the processing of the file using professional editing software complicates the Justice Department’s narrative. In a case already clouded by suspicion, the ambiguity surrounding how the file was processed is likely to provide fresh fodder for conspiracy theories….”

I tend to believe Blanche when he says there is no daylight between "the FBI and DOJ leadership". In fact I would be shocked to learn that Kash Patel and Pam Bondi are at odds with each other over the Epstein memo.

The suggestion by anyone that there is any daylight between DAG Todd Blanche's lips and St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago's butt is patently false.

Fallout Over Handling of Epstein Case Erupts Into the Open

An irate attorney general is said to have confronted the deputy director of the F.B.I. at a tense White House meeting earlier in the week.

“…
Ms. Bondi and her allies believe that Mr. Bongino, who parlayed a he-man image and promotion of conspiracies into a top law enforcement job, planted stories in the conservative news media blaming Ms. Bondi for the backlash after an announcement earlier this week that the Epstein case would be closed, according to officials close to the situation. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss conversations intended to be private.

It escalated into an angry face-to-face confrontation at the White House on Wednesday, when an irate Ms. Bondi accused Mr. Bongino of leaking information to the news media in the presence of the F.B.I. director, Kash Patel, the White House chief of staff Susie Wiles and one of her deputies, Taylor Budowich. Mr. Bongino denied it, they said. [Bongino clapped back that Bondi overhyped their review of the Epstein evidence.]…”
