Epstein Files released … sort of | set-up to purge FBI NY office?

This is the stupidest timeline ever … who jigs over a binder of old news about a pedophile? Where is the Q-Anon contingent to demand this shit be taken seriously by Libs of Tik Tok and the MAGA influencer set?

So, either

(1) Bondi and Patel are so dumb they were easily duped by a nefarious FBI NY plot to send them a laughably small cache of previously disclosed evidence to protect a dead pedophile and (??), and then Bondi and the White House naively host an event to pass it on to MAGA media and influencers (who would be the least likely to doubt or fact check the info), including suggested glowing social media posts about administration transparency

OR
(2) Bondi and Patel tried to deflect pressure to release Epstein files from a vocal portion of the MAGA base by repackaging previously disclosed evidence to protect someone (???) referenced in the old stuff from further disclosure of more damaging evidence that has been suppressed and are too dumb to know how much immediate scrutiny that info would get, and then Bondi and the White House host an event to pass it on to MAGA media and influencers (who would be the least likely to doubt or fact check the info), including suggested glowing social media posts about administration transparency, then when caught blame the NY FBI when they got caught by cursory media review of the “new” disclosures
OR
(3) Bondi and Patel actually set up a fairly complex scam to first do the release to fawning MAGA influencers knowing it would take a few minutes of public scrutiny to discern this was old info repackaged in fancy binders, in order to (a) justify a purge of the FBI NY office and (b) do a bit of three card Monty to redirect public attention from the any further Epstein evidence (which they may now claim has been destroyed by nefarious FBI agents who “duped” them) to the nefarious FBI cabal, thus protecting someone (???) who might be embarrassed (or worse) by release of further Epstein evidence

Not sure in the third possibility why they would choose to humiliate their MAGA influencers by making them the public face of the release, TBH … so 1 or 2 may be more likely, but the entire thing is really strange

BTW, the WH canned talking points that were helpfully cut and pasted without any changes by two of the influencers do include claim that Bondi knows SDNY is “hiding” more files that will be delivered by Feb. 28 — but the influencers also seem to think they are getting first dibs at new info in binder 1.

If there is anything that Trump doesn't want released, either Biden didn't want to release it either or there was some administrative reason that Biden couldn't release it.

I just doubt that there's going to be much there except fuel for the tin foil hats. I think it would have leaked already if there was. Maybe we see a few surprise names that were on the flights, but I don't think we're going to get the smoking gun on Trump or Clinton or anyone else.

Laura Loomer's ability and willingness to cut through Trump 47's bullshit has been one of the more surprising developments of the last month or so. It's neither important nor salutary. Just not on the bingo card
