I think there are a few things going on here.

1) Anyone who could be described as (A) reasonably ethical and (B) reasonably competent took themselves out of consideration for the Trump administration at the end of his first term. Additionally, Trump learned the hard way that ethical and competent folks were a barrier to his administrative goals for term 2, so he intentionally did not want those folks. So the pool of potential Trump admin folks was pretty limited to begin with.

2) By 2024, Trump is a know terrible person who does terrible things. Who else was a terrible person who did terrible things? Epstein. So that kind of folks who were willing to associate with Trump in 2024 and thereafter are inherently the kinds of folks who would associate with Epstein even after his conviction.

3) Trump tends to gravitate to folks he already knows and feels comfortable with to surround himself. As he was, at least, knee deep in Epstein's world, he knows and is comfortable with a lot of folks who were close to Epstein. And those folks are, at least, knowledgeable concerning Trump.

I think when you take all 3 of these things into account, it's not surprising that the Trump administration is full of folks referenced in the Epstein files...folks who are willing to overlook sex trafficking of minors to maintain a relationship with Epstein are the same folks willing to overlook all of Trump's scandals and malfeasance to maintain a relationship with Trump. And Trump doesn't have a lot of other options because folks who aren't terrible people just aren't willing to associate with him any longer.

At some points she came off looking like a 1980s soap opera villain.

It’s crazy how that billionaire class is so unprincipled politically. So many of them just follow where they think will lead them to the most money and power. To go from supporting someone who supports the principles of the Democratic Party to supporting Donald Trump would be insane if it weren’t so obvious why they’re doing it.
 
Bondi is lucky the Olympics are going on now b/c she would get absolutely skewered on SNL. Not that it would bother her but would provide those who are not paying attention some idea of her testimony.

It's the same as it is with everybody. They love a bargain, too. Course, we're shopping for groceries and they are buying judges and politicians.

Not only did Trump "know about the girls," but he also spent time with one of the victims. Yeah, I am sure he just talked with her. And then saying if Trump won in 2016 then Epstein could basically blackmail him when saying Trump would be in debt to Epstein.
