If this 2019 interview was accurate (this FBI interview in 2019 about an alleged call in July 2006 appears to be the only record), then it undercuts Trump’s many claims that he had no idea what Epstein was up to and makes every apparent communication after this seem even worse.
OTOH, could have been a local sheriff trying to do Trump a political favor that wasn’t as helpful as it might have seemed.
BTW, Trump is hanging his FBI out to dry if this is a confirmation he made this call:
