So Trump says we have had the greatest 6 months of any president in the history of our country...

reminds me in 2017 when Trump said he had created the greatest economy in the history of all mankind and lazy media slurped that like a dehydrated dog.

Let's hope media doesn't buy this greatest 6 month bullshit this time around...

NYC fan is the happiest she’s been in months.

They haven’t figured out that if there was anything to this story Biden and Co. would have it blasted on the commie news network 4 years ago.

They’ve lost and they know it.

Grasping at straws and hoping if they say it enough it’ll come to fruition.

Pathetic bunch in here for sure!

But….. they definitely got him this time!!!
yeah they simply cant admit its nothing but another witchhunt revenge politics deal, but neither can your side admit to anything. thats the pathetic irony of our political system which will one day crumble because of the egotistical pride of both sides.

Johnson sending House home early amid push to force Epstein files vote

Washington — The House will leave town early for its monthlong summer break as members clash over the release of files related to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The lower chamber was originally scheduled to be in session through Thursday, but votes were scrapped as Democrats and some Republicans push for a floor vote to force the release of the Epstein files. Lawmakers will now head home until Sept. 2, after votes on Wednesday afternoon.

On Monday night, the Epstein controversy disrupted another House Rules Committee meeting — the last hurdle for most legislation before it gets a floor vote — when Democrats threatened to make Republicans take more uncomfortable votes on Epstein-related amendments.

The committee instead recessed for the remainder of the week, blocking the House from passing legislation with a simple majority. The House can still bypass the committee and approve noncontroversial legislation with a two-thirds majority.

If I understand the R and D perspectives on this situation correctly, the following things are true:

  1. Trump was involved in the abuse of minors along with Epstein
  2. Ghislaine knew this, and likely more, but decided not to leverage it to help with her sentencing
  3. Now that she's being asked about it, she's going to lie to possibly get her sentence reduced
  4. The evidence of Trump's involvement is in the "files" but the Biden admin kept it quiet
1. Leverage at trial does not work the way you think it does. Since Epstein was dead, there was nobody for her to roll over for. The prosecutors weren't going to offer her leniency to spill the beans on Trump. Again, maybe Trump does that but DOJ attorneys do not, especially not under Garland.

2. The Biden administration didn't "keep it quiet." They simply followed regular DOJ procedures and regulations, which would involve not releasing the files.

“… In a brief call with CNN on Tuesday, President Trump, asked about the wedding photos, responded, “You’ve got to be kidding me,” before repeatedly calling CNN “fake news” and hanging up.

In a statement to CNN, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said, “These are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious….”

A bit of a weird Bigfoot sighting story considering there are plenty of photos and videos of the two partying together, though most are later (post Marla Maples).
