The media mogul Mortimer Zuckerman suggested ingredients for a meal that would reflect the culture of the mansion: a simple salad and whatever else “would enhance Jeffrey’s sexual performance.”

And the director Woody Allen described how the dinners reminded him of Dracula’s castle, “where Lugosi has three young female vampires who service the place.”

At least one other MAGA luminary also visited the townhouse: Stephen K. Bannon, a former adviser to Mr. Trump and an online media personality, who has said that he videotaped hours of interviews in the mansion with Mr. Epstein in 2019. Framed photos of Mr. Bannon — including a mirror selfie snapped by Mr. Epstein — were kept in at least two rooms in the mansion.

In the office, according to photos reviewed by The Times, Mr. Epstein showcased a green first edition of “Lolita,” the 1955 novel in which an intellectual develops a sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl and repeatedly rapes her. Atop a wooden sideboard were more framed photos, including one of Mr. Epstein with Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman.

On a side note, Woody Allen is a disgusting human being. I've thought he was a pedophile for a long, long time - there are numerous accusations of him having sexual relationships with underage girls going back to the 1970s, and of course when he was 56 he began an affair with his longtime girlfriend Mia Farrow's adopted daughter, who was 21, but Allen had known her for years when she was younger while he was dating Farrow. He was also accused of molesting another of Farrow's adopted daughters, seven-year-old Dylan, and although he vigorously denied it and some others have claimed that Dylan and Mia were trying to extort money from him, a judge did call Allen's relationship with Dylan "grossly inappropriate" but said that there was not enough evidence to charge Allen with child sexual abuse. Allen's quoted response to criticisms of his relationship and marriage to Farrow's adopted daughter was "the heart wants what it wants" which is not exactly a ringing defense of his innocence, to say the least.

“Manhattan” has definitely not aged well.

In his movie Manhattan, he played a 42-year-old guy dating a 17-year-old girl played by then 16-year-old (at the time of filming) Mariel Hemingway. There were scenes where they were in bed together discussing sex with one another. It was done in a very matter-fact way without any suggestion that there was something morally wrong with it. I was disturbed by it when I watched the movie.

ETA: Geisterfahrer beat me to it.

I was never a fan of his movies so I've never seen it, but that is disgusting, and certainly fits his lifelong pattern.
