This is Google's first real fuck-up in the battle - not auto-applying the credit. That's BS.

Here's the link to get it though YouTube
They were also offering a deal where you could get $10 off a month for 6 months. That was before the one time $20 credit on the next bill. You had to go into your account settings to get it. Not sure if they are still doing that or not.

I wonder if the new deal includes the WWE premium events being on YTTV through the ESPN app now.

Looks like it will.

Additionally, ESPN’s full lineup of sports – including content from the ESPN Unlimited app, launched earlier this year – will be made available to YouTube TV’s base plan subscribers at no additional cost by the end of 2026.

Funny—about an hour ago, I bought a weekend pass for Sling.

Ah well, it was only $10, and with the $20 YTTV rebate, I guess I’m still $10 ahead. As long as I don’t factor in the $100 or so that I’ve spent at sports bars the past couple weekends.

I just learned on Thursday my wife has had the Disney+/Hulu/ESPN app the whole time after I have missed two weekends of college football. (not the ESPN Unlimited version.)

Wait. You have YTTV and the Disney Bundle?

Edit -- Bigs post below made me realize that the wife must have the bundle without Hulu live, right? If so, then the ESPN+ would not have regular ESPN programming.

Does it include regular ESPN or just ESPN+? He have that bundle too but most if the ESPN content is not included.

I hate hulu.

They actually insert ads into recorded games that you cannot skip.

The whole purpose of recording is to skip commercials.

Even then it's not like I watch them, just mute the column and go do something else for a couple minutes.

For $90 s month, they shouldn't have to have non-skippable commercials.

Also, YTTV will let you share. I'm using the BILs

I just claimed my $20 refund - or credit towards next month.

I refrained from jumping ship to hulu.
It was really cool the way regular YouTube was streaming the games in real time...

Yeah, but you had a blast at those sports bars, didn't you? Admit it. That was you hollering "Free Bird" at the acoustic guitarist playing for 2 people in the corner, wasn't it... :p

The regular ESPN App. It included ESPN, ESPNews, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACCN, SECN, but not the stuff exclusively on ESPN+.
There were games in the directory that said "Not available, requires ESPN Unlimited subscription" with a button where you could click to subscribe.

If you watch it “on demand” you get the ads. If you watch it from your recordings, you can skip the ads. But it is not always clear which one you’ve selected.
