Not sure. I guess being a "follower" of a YouTube creator who is "encoder streaming" from their desktop?
I'm just guessing here...
And if you're not already a follower of the creator, you'll never here or learn about it. I guess it's like "IYKYK"
The question is: wouldn't YouTube flag that type of creator content and take it down immediately? At least until the game is over and ESPN releases the content.
Is that how "pirates" in Asia upload stolen content - flying under the radar of the YouTube controllers?
I know the Central Arkansas game was available via YouTube livestream.

sooooo as a youtube TV'er, in order to watch the heels game tonight i have to get espn+?
ESPN+ won't help you. That just gets you stuff that isn't on ESPN's networks. You'll need "Disney Unlimited" or a trial of something else (fubo?) that has access to ESPN.

I was wondering about this too. It is probably not hard to parse thru a stream and look for content matching data that is deemed pirated (or porn or whatever). There is so much data to comb thru, even just filtering live-streams it could be an expensive job though. But they're definitely going to be slack it is Disney's content being pirated ;)

Apparantly a small content creator “company” - EliTV can live stream the game - with YouTube’s blessing (it’s not “pirated”) and anyone can join up for only $2.99 per month. For $15 bucks you could sign up for this for 5 months - basically the entire season up until April. And by end of March I’ll know wether or not I want to stay joined 😎

That’s almost worth it instead of playing the Hulu game. Recall: as a YTTV subscriber I’ll be getting $20 per month as a credit. Spend only $15 of that, and I’ll get all the games for those 5 months, and pocket $85 in TouTubeTV credits for that span.

I’ll take that action.

In fairness, there have been past disputes with cable and dish companies too. But I don't remember one dragging on this long.

I just looked at this and I don't see any sports.

I have YouTube TV, Disney+, and Hulu but still can’t watch the game because while Disney+ has ESPN, it doesn’t have ESPN Unlimited.
Don’t see ESPN on my Hulu so I assume it’s the same sort of deal, I need to pay extra to watch the game.

So this is totally f'd up

Haven't delved into it. I just opened up YouTube and typed in "Live Stream UNC vs Kansas" and scrolled down. It can't be legit, if you've done due diligence (when I didn't) and found nada.

Well I guess I'll save my $2.99 and buy another round

Might be able to find a normal YouTube stream. Sometimes people have been streaming there, it worked for Monday’s game as well as UNC Syracuse fball game.
