Everybody Ought to Have One. Who is your Patron Saint?

Saint Dymphna is the primary patron saint for those with a troubled life, specifically recognized as the patroness of mental illness, nervous disorders, anxiety, and emotional distress. She is invoked for comfort and healing during times of mental turmoil, fear, or difficult life circumstances.

I contend that Sisyphus is the patron saint of all teachers.

Every climb pushing that rock equals a semester.

Granted he is the most existential of saints if one follows Camus.

Based on quick Google search:

For Brewers & Beer:
    • St. Augustine of Hippo:
A complex figure who found redemption, he's associated with brewing, possibly due to his transformation from a wild youth.
    • St. Luke the Evangelist:
The author of the Gospel of Luke, he is also a patron saint of brewers, though the exact connection is unclear.
    • St. Boniface:
An English missionary to Germany, he is also considered a patron of brewers.
For Hangovers & Recovery (Effects of Drinking):
    • St. Bibiana: Her name sounds like the Latin for "to drink," leading to her patronage for those with hangovers or recovering from drinking.
