chemo is like prayers always the credit never to blame. its also like vegas who lets a few winners but the large majority are losers. i know many it killed or ruined.
You do know there's also a thing called "cancer" that might have contributed to this. Or does the cult now think cancer is a hoax, too? Either way, no more Fox "News" for you.

Ha ha. It is kinda like the old joke, "Never go to the hospital because everyone there is sick, so it must be bad for you."

It may be a joke but around 2 million experience hospital inquired infections each year. The missus was the assistant director of UNC hospital epidemiology back in the day and used to joke, "If you want to remain healthy, then stay out of the hospital. "

Fair point. That certainly is an issue, especially antibiotic resistant infections.

"probable" ivermectin poisoning? wonder how many people die from "probable" chemotherapy poisons or all those mental health poisons drs dole out like candy?

i see no diff b/t legal or illegal drugs. one is a complete fool if you trust anything big pharma says and they have dr's and politicians in their pocketbooks but thats what we get when we vote for a for mega profit healthcare system. theres no honor or truth in greed. american is a very dumbed down society all the way around though
If only your ass gets eat up with some incurable shit maybe then you’d have empathy but I honestly doubt it? Your ignorance is epic and reflects your stupidity and ignorance on anything other than your both side’s idiocy commenting?! Have a great night and hopefully Karma pays you a visit.

I remember during the depths of the pandemic my brother was in-and-out of Memorial Hospital (and, I know it’s no longer called that; but, I’ve called it that for decades - especially since I was carried into it strapped to a backboard at age 12 and some neurological type stuck his finger up my…….turned out my spine was A-OK).

I remember being all over that place…..the ER…..the “other” ER…..this part of the “Bed Tower;” that part of the Bed Tower. A psych part.

Someone had to go and answer questions and that was me.

I LOVED being in that hospital at the height of Covid.

Maybe I should feel bad for feeling this way, but I just can't summon much sympathy for people like this. No doubt she's terrified and stressed wondering how they're going to pay their bills and keep their home and survive, but to be blunt voting for Trump (probably three times) when you're not wealthy is basically a vote to cut your own throat, and her taunts and trash-talking following Dear Leader's election aren't going to win her any friends or sympathy votes from anyone outside of MAGA Nation. Republicans claim to be the party of "personal responsibility" (of course they're not) but facing the consequences of their actions is probably the last thing this woman and other Trumpers are willing to do.

Sometimes it’s difficult to have pity on stupidity.
And schadenfreude is a thing.

The Cult of MAGA and Dear Leader really is something else. I was struck by this passage:

"Democrats’ efforts to extend healthcare subsidies for Americans covered under the Affordable Care Act do not impress Rivera. His parents are among the 24 million Americans who get their health insurance through the ACA but, according to Rivera, their plan was never as affordable as they were led to expect and the whole system needs to be reformed."

So this guy's parents get their healthcare through the ACA, but even though it was passed by Obama and Democrats over the fierce opposition of Republicans, he gives Democrats no credit and complains that his parent's premiums are too high. Yet Trumpers are trying to eliminate the subsidies that would make his parent's ACA plan far more expensive, and Trumpers have repeatedly tried to abolish the ACA and have opposed doing anything that might make it less expensive for his parents. But who does this genius blame for everything? Democrats, of course. I'm sure that if the Democrats lose this fight and his parent's premiums soar, he'll find some way to blame Democrats for that too. As Forrest Gump would say, stupid is as stupid does.

ETA: And it goes without saying that our healthcare system badly needs reforming, as this guy said. The problem is that his party has no real solution other than to kick more and more people off healthcare and just leave them to fend for themselves.
