Unless the buffalo’s horns hit his heart or a major artery or vein, the guy likely suffered for a good long time……stomach wound…..traumatic injury/injuries from a massive collision…..broken femur that lead to blood loss and shock…..lung damage……You cant even tabulate the irony of that article. The attack was "unprovoked"....well maybe the buffalo knew he was about to be murdered so it was self defense.
The dead man "spent every spare second with his daughter"....well except all the time he spent globe trotting murdering animals for sport.
The only issue I have with the situation is that the article indicated he was killed instantly. I find that part a little sad. He should have gotten more of his money's worth from the experience.
The “he died instantly” is to assuage his family, friends, and maybe lawyers.
