We could not hear the audio over the narration and don’t know if he told her to get out, but it didn’t look like she was given any real opportunity to step out of the car on her own. He immediately went to the door, blocked her egress and physically pulled her out.
Based on the number of cars following her/them, I'm guessing it wasn't a everyday traffic stop. Also, if you throw open your door when a cop stops you, as she did, that escalates the situation immediately.

I’ll cede that “thrown to the ground” implies a level of force that is subject to opinion but rather than put her upright against the car to cuff her he forced her onto the ground and put a knee on her back. He weighs at least twice what she does. It was clearly excessive. Not to the extent of causing injury, but more force than was necessary.
Opinions will vary. Had he actually wanted to, he could have actually slammed her to the ground. He seems to be relatively patient while she played games, running in circles, not allowing herself to be arrested and claiming she was 15.
If the officers were at all concerned about their safety they would have had guns drawn. This looks a bit like

Maybe.

Me, neither.
She claims she and the others arrested were never told why they were arrested. They were let go with no explanation.
So, when you defend these actions as police just doing police work, I don’t think that is correct. They are making illegal arrests again and again. When you defend that, that is probably where the boot-licking accusations come from.
I know you support Trump in some ways and find him abhorrent in other ways. My feeling is collectively all of these actions by ICE and Trump building up a police force that seems to have no accountability to anyone belongs in the “abhorrent” column and it isn’t even a close decision. Maybe even the most abhorrent.
Of course, opinions differ on this and everything else, especially when we are talking about politics and/or Trump.
I'm not really defending anything except the reality that "we don't know".

I didn't see anything physically inappropriate in the interaction. Beyond that, I have no opinion on whether the stop, detainment and arrest are ok... because we don't know.

Right. It looks like an ICE fishing expedition, arresting American citizens with no probable cause nor explanation as to why they are under arrest.
I mean, if the person did something wrong, the arresting officers would have stated it. Instead, we have DHS denying it even happened.

Zen, do you defend them wearing masks like the wusses they are?
No. The reason there are threats against ICE is because of the way the admin is handling the deportations. It's a self-inflicted wound and the ICE agents should be angry at their boss, boss's boss, boss's boss's boss, etc.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit this cause I’m sure most here had already figured this out.

This administration is targeting citizens, and they’re thrilled to see all the social media attention on this. When we go to vote next year they want all minorities to know that being a citizen exercising your rights will not protect you.

More than a few people are going to stay home. It’s not worth the chance that they be detained or taken. The threat of physical violence is real. They could lose time at work or even lose their jobs.

They’re putting in place leadership that’s going to be even more aggressive as well.

270ish people in congress, 6 justices, and dozens of states are doing everything in their power to ensure trump is able to continue his terror campaign.
