Problem is this is a no win situation.

If a bail out is proposed and dems vote against it, the optics are horrible.

If they get relief then they will just keep voting pub.

I believe a Democrat should propose a relief bill, so they can control the narrative that this administration policy is causing the issue and they are fixing it. Add something that Republicans hate and might vote against, so pass or fail ramrouser can tell us how all the pubs voted against the relief bill and hate farmers.

Or, at the very least, rename this bill the "American Farmers Relief Act of 2025," and then dare Pubs to vote against it.

It’s just a shame it’s come to all this. Pubs and those who vote for them are victims of their own making. It’s hard to have pity for stupidity.

Perhaps, OR the Dems could just take a play out of the Republican playbook: Vote against it, then lie like hell about how the Republican bill had "unprecedented pork" in it, would have been a "death roll for everyday Americans' bank accounts" and was "tone deaf to the problems real Americans are facing." It doesn't matter if it's true or not—just flood the news cycle mercilessly until another headline pops up. That's how this works, right?

But in seriousness, if it gets the point of such a bill being introduced, the Dems had better make some serious waves over WHY such a bailout would be necessary in Trump's so-called "saved" economy.

Trump bailed out farmers in his first term, it was a given he’d be bailing them out in his second term. The smart farmer didn’t even put money into growing his crops this year.
