So the mom's cleaning their son's bedroom and finds a s&m bondage magazine between the box spring and mattress. She waits for her husband to get home and meets him in the garage and says "Look what I found under Timmy's mattress.... What are we going to do?"
The husband looks at the magazine and says "Well we're not going to spank him!"

Might've already posted this, can't remember. I feel the same way about reading it...

I have achieved (reached? discovered? grasped? gazed upon?) a holy grail of sorts, so I guess that counts as a good vibe. I can't hardly (sic) watch a movie, tv show or series without breaking out the laptop and going down the imdb rabbit hole. Who was that actress on Law and Order tonight? Surely I've seen this episode multiple times, but obviously I'd never looked up the actress who played the unlikely-named character of Cheryl Ippolito, whose total screen time was barely 10 seconds. Who was she? When is her birthday? How tall is she? What else has she been in (oh my god, she was in that!)? How many times has she been married? What are her feelings on the role of the actor in society? These (and more) are the answers I craved and these (and more) are the answers imdb never fails to deliver.

So I rewind and get the aforementioned character's name, find it on the "full cast and crew" section for this episode and click on her name (Lorijean Nichols), and what do I find? Nothing! Or, well, virtually nothing. For the first time ever I found, in the person of Ms. Nichols, an imdb entry that listed exactly one credit, the selfsame Law and Order episode I had (barely) glimpsed her in and virtually nothing else. Singular. Stunning. Unbelievable.

Now then, I said "virtually nothing," b/c in truth there was, besides her sole credit on that single episode of Law and Order, exactly one more item, listed under the jocular heading "Did you know?", to wit: "Nickname: LJ" That was it. I was agog. It's not like I'd been looking for this unicorn (indeed, I daren't credit that it existed at all) and yet here she was, LJ, staring at me with saucer eyes (in my mind, anyway, b/c of course there was no picture).

I've seen plenty of people married to or otherwise related to an actual actor who had gotten a couple of parts or worked on a couple of sets, seemingly as a sop to their more well-connected kinsman (or kinswoman), but of course their imdb profile (such as it is) always mentions their relationship said kinsman. But never a monad like this, related to no one, with only one credit and one sliver of additional information ("Nickname: LJ"). I still want to know how tall she is...

Lorijean Nichols appears to have had some connection with Michigan State and to have directed some productions in Lansing during the early 2000s.
