Im glad you like it. Personally I will never be able to own anything from that company.
Same here. But due to personal reasons, the self-driving feature is a game changer for me and works extremely well. Though they keep working and improving the "supervised self driving" feature, they are basically upgrading the technology for their robo taxis. A very low percentage of Tesla owners actually use it. It comes at a significant cost for access. Most prefer to drive themselves, and just use the free cool interstate cruise control. Unlike regular cruise it will actually slow down and speed back up when approaching a slower car. It might even change lanes, not sure.

PS - CFord if you are reading this, I remeber your awful condition that impacted one eye severely (to the max if I recall.) If you have any questions, or interested, please reach out my friend, and fellow former Pub.

Many newer models from other brands have smart cruise capabilities.

My Pilot has that cruise feature. I tried using it and thought it was annoying and never used it again.

At the Ingles in Black Mountain a couple weeks ago.
That sticker is from when the maroon in chief was staring and pointing at the eclipse he was watching from a White House balcony. It's peak Trump in every way.

$2.39 to $3.79 here in Texas. Could easily hit $4.00 with oil futures (Brent/WTI) still about $100/ba.

Lot of really interesting EV SUVs coming out in the next few years. Rivian R2, Scout, Volvo EX60, BMW i3. Several have great range capability, all starting under $60K. We will probably take the leap on one of them. Perhaps a gently used one, due to EV depreciation issues.

I'm a truck guy. I enjoy driving my F150 too much to get rid of it. But we've been kicking around the idea of trading my wifes Camry for an EV.

Ha - I have a truck myself. Will likely trade in my wife’s SUV for an EV and keep the truck. Feels like a good hedge (and let’s us piss off everyone which I appreciate).

Same.

It's incredible how Elon has alienated his primary customer base over the past few years. I was pretty much a lock to buy a Tesla whenever purchasing my next vehicle until he went fully unhinged MAGA. No chance I will ever buy one of his products or invest in any of his companies now.

The Rivian R1T seems like a really capable truck. Trying to convince the wife to get that instead of a minivan. On the total opposite end of the spectrum I’m also intrigued by the Slate.
