I chuckled when I saw this sticker on the pump while filling up near my house yesterday.

It used to cost around $55 to fill up the tank on my 10 year old car. And yes, that's $4.88 per gallon for 93 octane which is needed for my car....damn high compression engines with turbos!

I rode by my gas station today. Regular gas was holding steady at $4/gallon and diesel was hanging in there at $5.80/gallon

What kind of car?

It was 3.76 at my BJs gas station yesterday but above $4 everywhere else. My GF who lives closer to our Costco said it was $3.72.

Am very happy to accumulate Kroger Fuel Points every month. Between Boost and their 4X points on Fridays, I usually get $1 off per gallon twice a month. Even with that, my last fill up with regular gas cost me $45.
