One would think that and it should be the case. I mean gas is up due to Iran, inflation, while lower than biden’s, is higher than he said it would be, he mismanaged the deportations, and according to you guys he is insane. Should be a blue wave. Yet your platform = We Hate Trump. Along with defund ice, fuck the XX chromosome sports, we love trans athletes more, we love socialists, we hate Jews, and we hate trump. So when trump hands you the midterms on a platter, it’s amazing that the midterms are a toss up because independent soccer moms hate the liberal platform as much as they despise trump. Congrats on that.

Trump's platform is literally, "we hate everybody. Let's troll them until they do what we want." This is the president of the United States. Come on.

When you learned about presidents growing up, back when you still idolized the position, you know Trump wasn't how you viewed the position.

No president will ever live up to that nostalgic ideal, just like our country will never be the utopia that we wish it was, but at least other presidents have tried.

Trump has flipped "ask not what your country can do for you" on its head. And we are all worse for it.

So, yeah, I feel like the state of our country, and the man who is actively pissing on the graves of our founding fathers, is something worth the effort. And the message "we don't want America to go down the path Trump is putting into place," is something worth being a part of the party platform.

We aren't who he owns. Look inward for that, brother. We are the ones who have considered the long term consequences.

No man has ignited hateful rhetoric in this country like Trump has (though "wealthier than 170 countries" Elon Musk comes awfully close).

None of us benefit from that. And the more he, and his followers, create a divide of rhetoric of hate for each other, the more vulnerable our country will be. It is an infection, and it is spreading.

You want the infection to stop? Then don't support this man and what he stands for

Then we can talk. There are some valid concerns about the left, but a lot of those are being explored and adjusted, quietly.

We can address those further, here, and have honest conversations about them. But as long as you are defending this? What we see right now? No, your opinion won't be valid. I'm sorry, but it won't.

Agree with part of your comments. At the same time I never dreamed people in this country would lose all common sense and try to redefine a male and female, fight bitterly for biological men to play women’s sports, hate so deeply that they would rather Iran have a nuke than the president stop it, sympathize with hamas, elect socialists, support open borders and want to abolish ice, and turn a blind eye to rioting and crime. Yet, here we are.
