Given the budget that went into it which was probably hundreds of millions of dollars, I think that you could make a factual case that it’s the worst film of all time.

Assuming you're talking about HG2, IMDB has the budget estimate at $30-40mil.

Agreed. They could have used some decent screenwriters. The last 30 minutes did the movie no favors.

I would have been ok with the entire Maxi Golf plot, had one simple thing happened...

If the entire weirdness about Maxi Golf being built around their golfers severing the iliolumbar ligament had led to Billy Jenkins losing the final match up with Happy because his back gives out and he literally falls into a big heap and dies while everyone laughs at him. It's dark, but it's also very stupid and would very much be in the spirit of an old school Adam Sandler movie. That would have made me appreciate how far they'd for such a bad joke.

I think Thin Red Line was still the worst movie I have ever seen

Same for me, I couldn’t get through it and turned it off. Based on reputation, maybe I should give it another chance, but I found it so boring on my first attempt.

When I tried to rewatch The Thin Red Line I almost immediately fell asleep when I started my rewatch
