ps. I will just leave the fireworks on for a couple of hours. You can permanently turn them off in the bottom right otherwise it just shoots off 12 and then stops until you go back to the main page.

Have to say I saw fireworks, for some reason didn’t immediately think of New Year’s because I am spending it at home watching football, and ran to CNN.

A neighbor either shot off the biggest firework known to man or detonated something at midnight that shook my house and rattled the windows like nothing I've heard before. I was watching the countdown with the girlfriend when it went off and it scared us both to death. I seriously thought a house had blown up from a gas leak or something. About the time I got to the front door I started seeing other neighbors turning on porch lights and looking to see what was going on. Right after I shut the front door and took about 3 steps, I heard 5-6 gunshots fired off (presumably in the air and most likely from the same moron).
