I spent new year alone. I think that's the first time in my life I've been alone on New Year. But it's ok. It's good that I am moving toward more self reliance and not needing other people to be happy. I'm also happy that my daughters all choose to spend New Year Eve together. Their relationship is growing better also.

That’s great about your daughters Tech. One of my main prayers is that my 3 grandchildren will be close throughout their lives. I am close to one of my brothers, but have absolutely no contact with my other brother. Nor do I want any. It’s a shame.

I understand. I've always wanted my daughters to have a good relationship. I have one brother and we do not talk. I tried to mend some fences when my dad died but he wasn't having it.
