It's almost as if hiring a Fox talking head with no administrative experience and no experience leading the military (he is a veteran, but was never a high-ranking one), and who is a known heavy drinker with multiple accusations of sexual assault and harassment, to be the Secretary of Defense was a really, really bad idea. And that's without even getting into his clear pattern of racism and sexism. Trump's cabinet is a grossly incompetent clown show, plain and simple. They likely couldn't run a McDonald's smoothly, much less the entire federal government.

And according to reports, one of the reasons George was fired was his refusal to remove black and female officers from the promotion list at Hegseth’s request. So I think it is reasonable to question a prejudicial angle to these firings.

We weren't talking about Hegseth's bathroom habits. We were talking about him firing generals. Hegseth fired Generals at the beginning of a war and so have other officials including Marshal.

How do you know that "all of these firings are clearly driven by purely political reasons"? That's a bold claim. Its been more than two dozen firings during his tenure both before and after the war started. I doubt you could even name them all much less know that all of the firings have been for political reasons. Maybe stick to arguing things you know instead of making wild claims or discussing men's bathroom habits.
 
I’ll fully admit that I didn’t know who he was - had never heard his nene even - but expected trump’s man to be a negative. Once doing my homework it is pretty amazing how much of an incompetent buffoon he is along with being ideologically in line.

Hegseth's track record is such that I think it's a fair assumption to assume any major firing is likely political/cultural in nature rather than based on merit. Just like I think it's fair to assume that his blocking of the promotion of female and minority officers is not based on merit.
