There is a right way and wrong way to handle it. When you tell the staff that you are staying and have agreed on NIL, only to go into the portal at the very last minute, you’ve handled it the wrong way.

Agreed, but honor gets pushed aside for cash more often than not.

I think Wilson will be tough to keep out of the starting lineup.

There’s talent just have to see how it all comes together.

Agreed - Interesting set of pieces. Obviously all depends on how they play together and if Hubert can find the right combo and system. If we're grading how they've done in the portal, seems like A-, B+ at worst?

Does the portal grade deduct for players lost or just get credit for players gained? Seems to me that a huge part of portal performance is retaining players, too.

Otherwise, you’ll always give the best portal grades to the teams that lose the most players and have to get the most replacements.

I think you have to consider how much better or worse the team got from the portal flip. It’s hard to grade in the preseason.

Yeah, don't see how you can grade until the end of the year. Five games in will tell you something and midseason more but it's got to be about the results at the end.

i think it is unlikely that top 10 freshman wilson doesn't start.

but we'll see. stevenson is gonna be good either way.

yes. it looks pretty solid now. a high level wing was the missing item of concern and luka very much addresses that.

trimble/young/denis
bogavac/powell/trimble
wilson/stevenson/high
veesaar/high/brown

that dog hunts. hoping we add a couple of more guys to the end of the bench. development/culture/practice players.
