Guys, we request that you not share premium info from IC here (I am assuming that is where Bwall’s post came from, but apologies if I am incorrect).
 
It is a fair point, we are just trying to be respectful of the IC premium stuff (even though they banished the political board).

Yea, bwall didn't say that, at least in the post of his that I read.

He said that his agent and his trainer were advising him to stay, and that EC was beside himself with the decision.

There was absolutely nothing about him being forced out by our staff. In fact, the clear implication was that it was his family who were advising him to get out.

So was there another post of his you were referring to, or did you just completely misread or tendentiously misrepresent that one?

Given what cjones was saying yesterday, I think it is clear what Bwall was saying when he said that EC wanted to stay at UNC and is beside himself with the decision.

Did you read their other posts about the staff and perception of the staff/program among agents?

I think you are viewing Elliot-HD as a more black and white situation than it actually was. I don't think HD literally said hit the road Elliot. But there are varying degrees of player retention efforts. There are multiple ways to make someone know that you view them as a priority.

Given that we're told that HD/staff specifically told others that they want them back at UNC next year, given that the decision "wasn't about money," given that EC wanted to stay at UNC, given that HD said UNC needs to get bigger at positions, add in that cjones is quite close with EC and was upset with how the exit meeting went, I think it's clear what happened. I don't think HD/staff really cared if he left or not - "pushed out" probably isn't the correct way of putting it.
