It doesn't really take a position on whether to fire Hubert ASAP. But does lay out that the program's standard has noticeably slipped and needs to be recovered.

Basically says that there are no plans to fire him, though NCAAT performance could play into that, but that there will be pressure to deliver immediate results next year for sure.
 
Yes, the one-hot was a joke. No matter how you encode it, it's still a datum. I messed up the agreement between "team" and "data" though the error was on the first -- I should have used data but also written "teams" not team.
 
Super, you should have consulted with MarkwayneBillybob. With his impressive mastery of basic grammar, he surely would have prevented that mistake.

Un freaking believable how poorly Davis can coach. GDAMMIT just give someone else a chance . . !

I’ve said before, the BOG is loaded with Trumpers and NC State homers. They will burn down the UNC house. Starting with the DES Center and the “DEI hire” (their terminology, not mine).

Losing the last three games - even given the injuries - may just give them the cover they need to fire Hubert, and pretend it’s not a DEI thing… but we know it is.

They're Trumpers, and they hate UNC. This will be the one time they don't pull the DEI card. In fact , they may extend Hubert's contract after this season. If I hated this school, I'd keep the present head coach right where he's at.

Does anyone still want to make the case that Hubert showed great strides as a coach?

His complete lack of bench usage in the second half (4 starters played every second of 2H) and switch-happy defensive strategy were inexplicable tonight. I still don't think he's going to get fired but there is no way anyone really has confidence that he's becoming an elite coach.

All of that is his fault. Opposing guards have torched us all year, and he never figured out how to stop a player on a hot streak. And our free throw shooting has sucked all year, and we've never improved.

Every ounce of this is on Hubert because he's bad at coaching basketball.
