I believe Musk’s actions are harming Tesla’s stock price

That’s actually a good point. Not suggesting they fire him but imo his DOGE actions clearly impact the stock price. As the CEO I’m thinking the law would require him to take a fiduciary position and not take on controversial side gigs that harm the stock price.
Maybe they should ask him, in any email, to list 5 accomplishments from this past week that helped the company.

Uh oh! Looks like Pa Paw and Mee Maw are going to hitting up the local Tesla dealerships here in the next week or so. You'll see those freshly purchased Teslas all parked in a row at the Hardees/Bojangles at 6AM in short fashion. Uncle Terry already traded in his Silverado for a Cybertruck. They couldn't paint it like the General Lee, but they recommended a place a couple counties over that will be glad to wrap it for him for the right price.

Bondi, citing ‘domestic terrorism,’ announces charges for Tesla attacks

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has faced a backlash for DOGE’s moves to cut down the size of the federal government.

“…
“Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars,” Bondi said in a press release on Thursday.
Widespread protests outside Tesla showrooms have broken out across the country to decry the moves by DOGE to ax agencies and institute mass layoffs.

Many have been peaceful, but there have also been instances of vandalism and complete destruction of cars.

The Department of Justice did not announce the names of those charged. The Justice Department alleged one defendant threw eight Molotov cocktails at a dealership in Salem, Oregon; another “attempted to light Teslas on fire” with Molotov cocktails in Loveland, Colorado.; and a third in Charleston, South Carolina, “wrote profane messages against President Trump around Tesla charging stations before lighting the charging stations on fire.” …”

I have one that I bought before he went full nazi. Whether you like him or not they are great vehicles, and the 3 and Y are very affordable for what they are. I'm not exactly proud to be driving around in a nazimobile but at the end of the day the product is good, which is way more than I can say for my cool looking but totally unreliable Wrangler. If he steps back from his current craziness, which I think he will for myriad reasons, all will be forgotten within a year or so and the stock will recover. Others may be catching up but it's still a superior product at a better price than any other EV.
