Some people clearly cannot read between the lines. 😂

It was also pretty funny watching the reporting on 247 that things were trending away from Harris and McNeil with zero mention that they were trending away because Able had risen to the top of the list for Carolina and things are moving behind the scenes toward that end. Finally after all of Ben's telegraphing, there suddenly becomes a new portal wing name to watch on 247 😂

Yep! And that was after a couple of days of pretty clearly implying what was going on behind the scenes
 
My 247 is expiring this month, and i just cancelled to thwart some auto-renewal. I don't plan on joining IC, but i do miss Jason Staples' player previews.

I'm not going to do any promotion, but it's a pretty fun time to be on the premium BBall board. A lot happening right now.
 
Just signed our second International center for next season, and Able just dropped out of the draft (was trending early second round) to be the starting SG. That more or less answers the question of what the pieces of the puzzle will be for next season, so now it's about how Malone can put those pieces together and grow them.

Different outlets for different discussions. I keep both boards open. When I want to talk hoops, I go to IC. When I want to argue about anything other than hoops, I come here. They are trying to keep the arguments there specifically about the sport themselves, not the politics around the sports. From their perspective, as soon as that door is opened a hair, vitriol spikes, snowflakes get offended and run off to the higher up PTB, and lawyers get involved... and then ON3 starts getting as involved in their boards as 247 did. I understand why they do it, and I understand why that makes the IC/247 boards uninteresting to some.

Thanks, but I never felt hoops forums were much value. I like the analysis from Rell and others, but compared to fball (the sport, the roster) i feel like there is so much less to discuss or learn. Plus so much garbage exists in the more populated forums.

I'm a hoops junkie. I just don't find football as interesting. I honestly don't know how things are trending for Heels football. There was a period where I got 6.3k texts on football commits, but I cannot tell you if they have resulted in a better team than last year (which was pretty dang hard to watch).

Right this moment there is a lot happening in college hoops with NBA draft, transfer portal, international transfers, etc. All coming on the heels of what's looking to be a really good hire with Malone. For the time being, the hoops board is a pretty positive place... which is a rare thing.

Wait til the season starts and we have our first string of bad games... but for now it's fun.
